Misgurnus Anguillicaudatus  - This loach has a long slender brownish grey body with darker markings.

Prevalent in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Laos, Myanmar, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, these algae eaters are ideal for helping to keep your tank algae free as they are always moving and cover a lot of ground. These loaches are peaceful and highly sociable preferring to live in groups of at least 3, they are so sociable they have been know to interact with their owners. Can be kept with goldfish as they are happy at lower temperatures.
