Trichopodus Trichopterus - This gourami has a silvery body with three black spots, two of which are very close to one another and form a sideways figure 8.
Native to Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. The three spot is one of the more aggressive gourami so they should be housed with larger robust fish. Males are territorial and are therefore best kept singly or with several females.

Temperature: 21-29 degrees celsius
Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater
Tank Mates: Other larger freshwater tropical fish with similar temperaments. No long finned fish.
Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
