Amatitlania Nigrofasciata blue - These fish have a round body and prominent nuchal humps with a smaller head. They are a blue colour with darker blue/black markings.

Not found in the wild they are a hybrid cross of the Parrot Cichlid and the Convict Cichlid. Although classed as semi-aggressive, these fish tend to show aggression only during spawning times, they do prefer to live in matched pairs or alone but can live in a group with a large enough aquarium.

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish with similar temperaments.

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet. High Protein.
