Pimelodus Pictus -  These catfish have a slender shaped silver body with irregular black spots which also extend across their fins.

Native to Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela, they are very gregarious and happiest in groups of at least three. They should NOT be kept with smaller tetra or fish like neons or guppies as they will happily munch on them overnight when they are most active.

Temperature: 22-26 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Can live with peaceful and more rambunctious community species with no small fish.

Feeding: Good Quality Sinking Pellets and Frozen/Live Foods.
