Thayeria Boehlkei - These silver tetra have a narrow body and a black line running from their head and down their bottom tail fin.

Originally hailing from tributaries and the flood plains in Peru and Brazil, they are a shoaling fish, preferring to be in groups of 6 or more.  They have a unique swimming style, swimming with their heads slightly raised.

Maximum size: 7.5cm

Lifespan: 3-5 years

Temperature: 22-28 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar size and temperament.

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellets
