    Trichopodus Leerii - This gourami is named as a pearl gourami due to the pearl white spots covering their bodies, they also have a horizontal black stripe running from their nose to their tails. Males will develop an orange breast and throat.

    Native to the Malay peninsula, Indonesia & Thailand, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. 

    Maximum size: 12cm

    Lifespan: 4-5 years

    Temperature: 24-28 degrees celsius

    Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

    Tank Mates: Other larger freshwater tropical fish with similar temperaments. 

    Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
