Neritina Natalensis - These snails have a dark shell with bright browny yellow stripe markings.

Originating in Africa along the Indian Ocean side, some types of Nerite can also be found in Saltwater. These snail make a perfect addition to any community tank as they love eating algae and will help keep your tank free of the green stuff. Another bonus to these snails is that they don't breed in freshwater, needing brackish water instead so they will not overpopulate your tank.

Temperature: 22-26 degrees celsius 

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Any other peaceful community fish.

Feeding: Will generally eat algae from around the tank.
