Panaqolus albivermis -  These plecos have a dark brown body with gold stripes that run all across their bodies and also their fins.

Originating in Peru, these plecos have armour plating on the top of their bodies and so are suitable tank mates for both peaceful and aggressive fish. Plecos help to keep the tank clean by eating algae and detritus from the bottom of the tank, they are generally nocturnal. These particular plecos also eat bogwood and it forms a main part of their diet so must be provided to allow the pleco to thrive.

Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish.

Feeding: Good Quality Pleco Pellets & Wafers, Bogwood, Fresh cucumber or courgette, Frozen and live food.
