Panaque sp. Brokenline (L191)

Originating in Rio Caguan, Colombia these plecos have the typical panaque faces/heads which are more triangular then other plecos. They have a short squat body with a narrower tail and a defined short line (or brokenline) patternation. These plecos require bogwood which forms part of their diet along with protein and vegetable matter. They also need a larger tank to allow for their growth.

Temperature: 24-29 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater, Bogwood

Tank Mates: Anything really although they may be territorial with others of their species or similarly sized.

Feeding: Protein, Vegetable matter and Bogwood
