Hypoptopomo gulare - This algae eating catfish is like a larger version of an otocinclus with a slender silver body and a black horizontal stripe.

Originating from South America, these peaceful catfish are ideal cleaners for any aquarium. They are active during the day and spend a lot of their time, zipping around the tank from surface to surface and nibbling algae.
