Pethia gelius - These are one of the smallest barbs and have a  long slender golden body with a darker markings.

Originally found in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, they have also been introduced to Colombia. These barbs are peaceful fish and will get along with any similar sized fish so are ideal for the nano aquarium. They are easy to care for and adapt well to a variety of tank conditions but need to live in a group of 6 or more to be active and playful.

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar size and temperament.
