Moenkhausia Pittieri - These silver tetra literally sparkle like diamonds as they move around with rainbow shimmers. Photos cannot do these fish justice. They are one of the chunkier tetras with a broad body and longish fins.

Originally hailing from inland bodies of water in South America, they are a shoaling fish, preferring to be in groups of 6 or more. 

Maximum size: 5 -6cm

Lifespan: 3-5 years

Temperature: 24-28 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar size and temperament.

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellets
