Phenacogrammus Interruptus - One of the larger tetra species, the congo has a deep body and transluscent delicate looking fins. Silver in colour with glimmers of iridescence when darting around under the lights with the males displaying a purplish hue.

Temperature: 23-26 degrees celsius
Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater
Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar size and temperament.
Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellets
