Trichogaster Ialius - This beautifully coloured fish comes in a few variations of colour with reds and blues being predominant. They have a full body and fins that completely surround their bodies.

Native to India, West Bengal and Bangladesh, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. They prefer to live in a small shoal and with other less boisterous fish as they are slow swimmers. They do not get along with guppies or betta.

Tank Mates: Other quiet freshwater tropical fish. No Betta or Guppies
