Sphaerichthys osphromenoides - This gourami has a deep, rich chocolate coloured body with beautiful golden horizontal markings. 

Native to Borneo, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sumatra, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. They prefer a blackwater setup.

Maximum size: 6cm

Lifespan: 3-5 years

Temperature: 24-27 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater (mature set up)

Tank Mates: Other larger freshwater tropical fish with similar temperaments. 

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
