Gyrinus mexicanus - This curious creature is similar to a juvenile salamander but never actually becomes an adult.
Originating from Mexico, these animals need to be kept in a cool dark environment. As they are nearly blind, it is best not to keep any other aquatic creatures or fish with them. They can also fight and kill each other so are best kept either singly or as a mated pair.

Lifespan: 3-6 years
Temperature: 10-22degrees celsius
Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Cool and Dark.
Tank Mates: Not recommended
Feeding: Bloodworm when young then live earthworms as they mature.
