Assorted Platy 3cm - Please note the fish provided may differ from those shown in the picture in colour and pattern variation and may be either male or female. Where more than one is selected, we will provide a range of colours and both male and female as stocks allow.
We usually stock the following colour variations: Coral, Blue, Red Tuxedo, Gold Mickey Mouse, Green Variegated, Yellow Comet, Sunburst Tuxedo and Sunset Wagtail.
As we are constantly rotating our stock, if you are looking for a specific colour variation it is better to call in to store and select your own fish.
Breed information
Xiphophorus - These fish have a distinctive triangular shaped head and a squatter body than mollies with a shorter sqatter tail than swordtails.
Native to the waters of Central America, these fish have been in the aquarium trade for over 100 years! They are peaceful, easy to care for and have a wide variety of colours and patterns. Platies are live bearers, giving birth to live independent young roughly 28 days after spawning.

Temperature: 21-24 degrees celsius
Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater
Tank Mates: Other freshwater, coldwater fish of a similar size.
Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellets
