Hymenochirus boettgeri  - These little frogs are fully aquatic and are a darkish brown in colour with bumpy skin and bobbly eyes and darker brown markings.

Originating from shallow waters in Central Africa these little frogs are endlessly entertaining. Unable to live out of water, you must ensure that your aquarium has a tight fitting lid to prevent the little devils escaping!

Lifespan: 5-8 years

Temperature: 22-26 degrees celsius. 

Tank requirements: Tank, heater, filter.

Tank Mates: Anything community friendly around the same size.

Feeding: Frozen foods, commercial fish flake/pellets
