Schistura ataranensis  - This loach has a long slender snake like dark yellow body with black and red stripes.

Originating from Myanmar and Thailand, these loaches are ideal for helping to keep your tank algae free as they are always moving and cover a lot of ground. These loaches are peaceful and will happily live with just about any other fish but can be incredibly territorial with each other . They are incredibly shy and may spend the main part of the day hiding.

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar temperament. As a species, best kept singly or in a large group of 10+ in a large aquarium with plenty of rocks and caves.
