Breed information
Geophagus pyrocephalus - These fish can vary in colour depending on their mood and can display blues, yellows and reds in their iridescent scales with a black spot on their sides. The Red Head Tapajos is so named due to the tops of their head being red as they mature.
Found in Rio Tapajos, Brazil, these cichlids are sociable and prefer to live in a group or pair.
