Pygmy Puffer - 1cm
Breed information
Carinotetraodon travancoricus - This fish has a round pea sized body with a slender tail and is generally greenish with darker spots.
Originating from India, these fish are renowned for their character and snail munching! Looking as cute as they do its easy to assume they'll make a nice addition to your community tank. Unfortunately the pea puffer comes armed with a very destructive beak and is prone to nipping other fish and hunting and munching snails and shrimp. Tank mates to consider are generally plecos as they are both peaceful and armoured against attacking beaks.
