Dianema longibarbis  -  These catfish have a long slender golden bronze coloured body with darker spots and dark 'whiskers'.

Native to Brazil and Peru, they are a gregarious species, preferring to live in groups. Their substrate should be soft to prevent any damage to their delicate barbels, they also like to dig so any tank furnishings should be secure. Ideal for the medium sized tank but shouldn't be housed with smaller fish that may be seen as snacks.

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Can live with peaceful and more rambunctious  species with no small fish.
