A large, predatory cichlid with a narrow, laterally compressed body. The body is mainly white with coloured splotches.

Females are much smaller than males. Require a spacious aquarium with lots of swimming space and prefer coral sand or aragonite substrate to maintain high ph levels

Temperature: 24-27 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: High Powered Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other Malawi Cichlids.

Feeding: Good Quality Spirulina Flake or Pellets
