Parosphromenus deissneri - This gourami is shaped like an arrow head with a golden body and darker horizontal stripes.

Native to Bangka Island, Indonesia, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. These are one of the more peaceful, smaller varieties and prefer to live in pairs or small groups.

Lifespan: 3-5 years

Temperature: 24-28 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater (Mature set up)

Tank Mates: Other small freshwater tropical fish with similar temperaments. 

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
