Hypancistrus sp. -  These plecos have a very dark brown body with large white/pale yellow spots across their bodies and fins. Sometimes known as a snowball plec.

Originating in Venezuela, these plecos have armour plating on the top of their bodies and so are suitable tank mates for both peaceful and more rambunctious fish. Plecos help to keep the tank clean by eating algae and detritus from the bottom of the tank, they are generally nocturnal. These particular plecos are carnivorous and will enjoy meatier sinking pellets or bloodworm and brineshrimp.

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish but may become territorial with other bottom dwellers as it matures.

Feeding: Good Quality Pleco Pellets & Wafers, Fresh cucumber or courgette, Frozen and live food.
