Geophagus daemoni - These fish can vary in colour depending on their mood and can display blues, yellows and reds in their iridescent scales and three spots down their side.

Found in Central America, these cichlids are sociable and prefer to live in a group or pair. They are named Eartheaters due to the way they sift the substrate for fine particles of food and so prefer a sandy substrate. These fish are incredibly peaceful as they feed by sifting the substrate and are rarely territorial.
