Cryptoheros cutteri - These fish have a deep golden body with vertical black stripes, as they grow their golden colour deepens and a silvery blue horizontal stripe appears on their side. Their most remarkable feature is the bright blue eyes they have.
Found originally in Honduras and Guatemala, these cichlids are somewhat territorial and would need to be kept with other large robust cichlids. As a species they are best kept singly or as a matched pair as they become particularly aggressive around breeding time. They produce beautiful colour displays when breeding and are at their most colourful during this time.

Temperature: 24-28 degrees celsius
Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater
Tank Mates: Other peaceful fish of a similar size and temperament, no small fish.
Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
