Nomorhamphus liemi - These are a surface dwelling species which have long and very slender silver bodies with a long snout that can be a vibrant red colour along with a red tail .

Native to Sulawesi, Indonesia, these fish are livebearers but don't breed easily in the home aquarium (mainly because they will predate on their own fry). They are peaceful, but will predate on smaller fish or fry given the opportunity and generally prefer an aquarium that has floating plants and a slow flow - these fish are known jumpers so a lid is essential!

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater, peaceful fish that are a similar size and temperament.
