Apistogramma sp. - These fish have slender bodies with a wide low dorsal fin. They are available in a couple of different colour variations and are classified as a dwarf cichlid.

Found in Colombia and Peru, these dwarf cichlids are ideal for the smaller community tank as they have much less agressive attitudes than other cichlids and remain a small size. They love a good cave and make fantastic parents.

Lifespan: 5-10 years

Temperature: 24-27 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish of a similar size. Although peaceful, they can live with with semi aggressive/ boisterous fish such as tiger barbs.
