    Mikrogeophagus Altispinosus - These fish have short squat bodies with a wide low dorsal fin. They are classified as a dwarf cichlid but are much more community friendly than other cichlids.

    Found in Bolivia and Brazil, these dwarf cichlids are ideal for the smaller community tank as they have much less aggressive attitudes than other cichlids and remain a smallish size. 

    Maximum size: 8cm

    Lifespan: 2-3 years

    Temperature: 23-28 degrees celsius

    Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

    Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish of a similar size. Although peaceful, they can live with with semi aggressive/ boisterous fish such as tiger barbs.

    Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet
