Guianacara owroewefi - These fish have a deep silvery body with a  vertical black stripe across their eyes,  hence the name bandit. The males may develop a nuchal hump as they grow and their bodies turn a rich golden colour.

Found originally in French Guiana and Brazil, these cichlids are very sociable and prefer to live in a group. They can be somewhat shy and, although peaceful, should not be housed with small fish.

Temperature: 24-28 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other peaceful fish of a similar size and temperament, no small fish.  

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
