Pillsbryocancha exilis -  These mussels are a beautiful golden and black colour and move around (mainly at dusk or night) with the use of their foot.

Originating in South East Asia, these mussels are filter feeders that remove uneaten food and detritus from the water, helping to maintain your aquarium. Unlike some of their counterparts, this mussel prefers to remain partially visible and not completely hide under the substrate.

Lifespan: 1-2 years

Temperature: 20-28 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater, prefer harder water.

Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish.

Feeding: Will filter uneaten food from the water.
