Breed information
Chaetostoma sp.L445 - These plecos have a brown body with darker spots on their face which then extend across their whole bodies as they grow. They have a wider rounder snout than other plecos hence the name bulldog.
Originating in Colombia, these plecos have armour plating on the top of their bodies and so are suitable tank mates for both peaceful and aggressive fish. Plecos help to keep the tank clean by eating algae and detritus from the bottom of the tank, they are generally nocturnal.
