Garra Pingi Pingi  - This loach has a long slender brownish grey body with darker markings and four obvious fins, two on each side of the body.

Prevalent in Hong Kong, these algae eaters are ideal for helping to keep your tank algae free as they are always moving and cover a lot of ground, they are quite happy to tackle hair algae too. These loaches are peaceful but can be territorial with conspecifics so should either be kept singly or in a group of at least 5. Can be kept with goldfish as they are happy at lower temperatures.

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen.

Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish of a similar size or larger.
