Pseudetroplus maculatus  - These fish have a lovely bright orange body.

These are one of the very few cichlids found in India and Sri Lanka, hence their categorisation into oddballs! These cichlids are one of the most peaceful and somewhat timid so can happily coexist with some of the larger tetra, barbs and catfish as well as other peaceful cichlids providing the tank is large enough. These fish can become aggressive around spawning time so care should be taken with tank mates.

Temperature: 20-26 degrees celsius

Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

Tank Mates: Other peaceful fish of a similar size and temperament, no small fish.  

Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
